Did you know Neartown Little League hosted its first annual pitching and catching clinic this summer? It ran twice a week from 6-8 p.m. for 4 consecutive weeks, with 10U/11U attending Mondays and Wednesdays and 8U/9U attending Tuesdays and Thursdays. We had 14 kids per age group who attended and worked hard to improve their skills.

As a league, Neartown has recognized the importance of developing players in the specialized positions of Pitcher and Catcher. Coach Ben Bronson of BBZone was enlisted to lead this clinic with skill development, including hitting and base running. The kids had a great time, and we look forward to offering this clinic again in the future!
