NLL’s Kansas City Royals (Majors) won Sunday’s championship game in dramatic fashion with an 8-7 walk-off victory over Heights-Norhill Little League!

After battling in the semifinals against the NLL Rockies, the Royals secured their spot in the Majors championship game.

They started strong, with Drew Owens’ hitting a single to push in the first run. The team went on to add 3 runs in the 3rd, thanks to an inside-the-park homerun by Martin Serna.

HNLL then took the lead in the 5th.  But the Royals tied things up in the 6th after Holden Houston hit a triple and followed it up by stealing home.

The score remained even until Ross Houston singled in the 7th, knocking in the winning run!

Overall, the Royals got 10 hits.  Martin Serna led the team with 3 RBIs.  They had no errors in the field.
Ross Houston was the starting pitcher, and Martin Serna was in relief.

A HUGE congratulations to the Kansas City Royals on their amazing win!
